Job Summary
CRNA role providing anesthesia care within defined clinical privileges. Responsible for collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data related to planned procedures; maintaining a safe environment and responding to emergencies; administering medications and fluids per safe practice standards; ongoing assessment of airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status, and physiologic response to anesthesia; completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note); logging incident reports in the Safety Portal; and performing other duties as assigned. Education requires graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program by COA or predecessor.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
