Job Summary
CRNA responsible for delivering full-scope anesthesia care in a hospital-based setting. Responsibilities include reviewing patient data and history, preparing and administering medications and fluids, monitoring airway and physiologic responses during anesthesia, ensuring patient safety, completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care notes), logging incidents in the Safety Portal, and performing related duties as assigned. Requires graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program and appropriate licensure/certification as a nurse anesthetist. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its successor
- Licensure/certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
