Full Time Certified Nurse Anesthetist

Clinical responsibilities of the CRNA, credentialed to work within full scope of anesthesia practice, include collecting and evaluating patient data, maintaining patient safety, administering medications and fluids, monitoring airway and physiologic status during anesthesia, and completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative records, transfer-of-care notes); adherence to safety standards and incident reporting; collaboration within anesthesia care team; commitment to ongoing professional development and excellence in patient care. Education prerequisite is graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
