Job Summary
As a Full Time Certified Medication Technician (CMT) on the 3rd shift, you will deliver care to residents in a warm, home-like environment and communicate changes in resident status to the Resident Care Director. Responsibilities include reporting questions or discrepancies related to medication administration, documenting supervision of self-administration in MAR, notifying RCD of PRN med administration, and documenting PRN meds. You will assist in preventing elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Must hold a state Medication Technician License, complete quarterly competency reviews, and obtain CPR if not already current. The role requires current nursing assistant certification or completion of CHHA or homemaker/personal care training. Benefits include paid training, health/dental/vision, 401k with match, vacation, and other programs. The position offers hourly pay of $20.50-$21.75 and is in Middletown, Johnston, and Tiverton, RI with in-person work arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- State Medication Technician License
- competency review quarterly
- CPR certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire
- state approved training course in drug administration and certificate of satisfactory completion
- current certification as a nursing assistant or completion of certified home health aide or homemaker/personal care homemaker training program
- High School education preferred
