FULL TIME CENTER STORE MANAGER

Develop store atmosphere focused on creating and exceeding highest customer service, safety, and cleanliness goals. Assist store manager in exceeding gross profit, shrink, and sales targets while managing stock associate time to maximize productivity. Communicate company and job-specific information to instill a productive environment and encourage associates to meet targeted department sales and productivity goals. Assist in developing schedules, training associate job performance, and gaining product knowledge. Monitor center store for sell-by dates and damage, merchandise to match ads and seasonal trends, and assist in store inventory taking. Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers, maintain department equipment, and identify unsafe conditions. Report customer or employee accidents, safety risks, illegal activity including robbery or theft, and notify management of issues.
