Job Summary
Operate single, tandem, or multi-axle truck configurations for delivery and pickup of agronomy and energy products following specified schedules. Perform daily pre-trip inspections, including fuel, oil, tire, light, and brake checks, while adhering to preventative maintenance programs and DOT regulations. Load and unload containers, pallets, and materials using forklifts or by hand, ensuring balanced distribution and accurate logbook completion. Complete all associated documentation, such as bills of lading and delivery slips, at the end of each day. Maintain company equipment and professional image while working extended hours and on-call rotations as business conditions warrant.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent thereof
- 2 years or more of related work experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of and the ability to safely operate tractor trailer or tender truck equipment
- Ability to meet company and DOT standards
