Job Summary
Provide SMART customer service by locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise while answering customer questions and coordinating delivery calls. Plan and execute daily deliveries according to schedule, pulling and building loads within payload limits, and inspecting products before loading. Ensure safe, secure loads compliant with DOT regulations, update delivery status on tracking systems, and unload/install appliances upon arrival. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report daily inspections, verify invoice quantities, and detect security risks. Adhere to all safety requirements, housekeeping standards, and CDL regulations. Requires Class A or B CDL license, valid medical certificate, and ability to pass MVR screen.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL License
- Class B CDL License with air break endorsement
- Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment
- Ability to pass MVR screen in accordance with company requirements
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
- Must be 21 years of age
- Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations
Desired Qualifications
- 1 Year Experience driving a semi-truck/trailer or certification from a driving school
- 6 Months Experience performing in-home delivery or retail customer service
- 3 Months Experience operating a forklift or Moffett onloading/offloading a vehicle
