Job Summary
Provide SMART customer service by seeking out customers to understand needs and assist with locating, demonstrating, selecting, and loading merchandise. Plan delivery activities, pull merchandise, build loads, and deliver orders according to schedule while inspecting product conditions and verifying invoice quantities. Ensure loads meet DOT regulations, update delivery status on tracking systems, un/install appliances, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety. Detect security risks, conduct daily safety reviews, and comply with all housekeeping and equipment safety requirements. Maintain Class A or B CDL license, valid medical certificate, and ability to pass MVR screen. Starting rate $20.70-$22.35 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL License
- Class B CDL License
- Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment
- Ability to pass MVR screen in accordance with company requirements
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
- Must be 21 years of age
- Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations
Desired Qualifications
- 1 Year Experience driving a semi-truck/trailer or certification from a driving school
- 6 Months Experience performing in-home delivery or retail customer service
- 3 Months Experience operating a forklift or Moffett onloading/offloading a vehicle
