Job Summary
Provide SMART customer service by locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise while assisting customers with projects and warranty information. Plan delivery activities, pull and build loads, and deliver orders on schedule, ensuring items match invoices and verifying appliance conditions before loading. Inspect loads for DOT compliance, update tracking status, and unload/install appliances upon delivery. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety, complete DOT reporting, and secure work areas by detecting shoplifting risks and adhering to housekeeping standards. Operate store equipment as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL License
- Class B CDL License with air break endorsement
- Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment
- Ability to pass MVR screen in accordance with company requirements
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
- Must be 21 years of age
- Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations
Desired Qualifications
- 1 Year Experience driving a semi-truck/trailer or certification from a driving school
- 6 Months Experience performing in-home delivery or retail customer service
- 3 Months Experience operating a forklift or Moffett onloading/offloading a vehicle
