Job Summary
Cashier at Rusty Lantern Markets: greet customers, process transactions accurately using the POS, handle cash/credit/debit with proper cash handling procedures, maintain a clean checkout area, assist with stocking and inventory, respond to customer inquiries over the phone, promote current deals, and support store operations. Must be 21+ with reliable transportation; physical ability to squat/bend/turn and lift 25 pounds; opportunities include paid vacation/sick time, holidays, 401K, benefits, annual raises, store discount, and referrals. Full-time schedule to be discussed during interview.
Required Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong cash handling skills
- Retail math concepts
- Excellent communication skills
