Job Summary
Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience by scanning and bagging items accurately, managing the cash register, and handling payments and exchanges. Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area and answer their questions while maintaining a clean, safe workstation. Help other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. Complete other duties as assigned. This role requires reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills, the ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods, and lifting up to 15 lbs. Sales-related licensure may be required. Travel occasionally to meetings or support neighboring stores.
Required Qualifications
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
- Travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores
