Job Summary
Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience by managing cash registers, processing payments, and handling exchanges. Scan and bag items accurately while answering customer questions and assisting with self-checkout areas. Maintain a clean, safe workstation and help other departments as needed, including stocking shelves or moving carts. Stand or sit for prolonged periods while lifting up to 10 lbs unassisted or 15 lbs with assistance. Obtain required sales-related licensure and complete any training or meetings as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
- Travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores
