Job Summary
Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience by scanning and bagging items accurately, managing the cash register, and processing payments and exchanges. Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area and answer their questions while maintaining a clean, safe workstation. Help other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. Ensure every customer leaves satisfied. This role requires reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic, with the ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods. Obtain sales-related licensure if required by law in your state.
Required Qualifications
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
- Must be able to travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores
