Job Summary
Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience by scanning and bagging items accurately, managing cash registers, and handling payments and exchanges. Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area and answer their questions while maintaining a clean, safe workstation. Occasionally engage in other activities such as helping other departments, stocking shelves, or moving carts. This role requires standing and sitting for prolonged periods, lifting up to 15 lbs, and obtaining necessary sales-related licensure. You will work in both inside and outside weather conditions, potentially facing varying climates and constant noises.
Required Qualifications
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
- Travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores
