Job Summary
Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience by scanning and bagging items accurately, managing cash registers, payments, and exchanges, and answering customer questions. Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area and help maintain a clean, safe workstation. While most time is spent at the register, you may assist other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. This role requires reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills, with the ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods. You must obtain sales-related licensure if required by law in your state. Travel occasionally to meetings, training, or neighboring stores.
Required Qualifications
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
- Travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores
