Job Summary
Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience by scanning and bagging items accurately, managing cash registers, and handling payments and exchanges. Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area and answer their questions while maintaining a clean, safe workstation. Help other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. This role requires reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills, the ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods, and lifting up to 15 lbs unassisted. Sales-related licensure or registration is required if applicable by state law. Occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
- Travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores
