Job Summary
Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience by scanning and bagging items accurately, managing the cash register, and processing payments and exchanges. Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area and answer their questions while maintaining a clean, safe workstation. Help other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed in a fast-paced environment. This role requires standing and sitting for prolonged periods, lifting up to 15 lbs, and obtaining sales-related licensure if required by law. Travel occasionally to meetings or support neighboring stores.
Required Qualifications
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
- Must be able to travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores
