Job Summary
Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and transfers to a partially paralyzed male client in a North Bend private home. Assist with exercise/therapy, range of motion activities, and safe use of mobility equipment. Manage companion care, household tasks like laundry and meal preparation, and transport clients to medical appointments. Remind clients of medication schedules and ensure safety during daily activities. Shifts run Monday through Friday, 8–10 hours, with pay ranging from $22 to $24 per hour. Long-term placement available for clinically stable clients.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or G.E.D certificate
- Licensed to provide home care in Washington State
- Be listed in good standing on with the Washington DSHS Background Check System
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
- All ComForCare caregivers must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience as a Home Care Aide (in homes or facilities)
- Experience with specific conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's, etc
- Experience and comfort with holistic/integrative healthcare
- Experience with spinal cords injuries and exercise programs
