Job Summary
Handle all customer transactions involving cash, chips, tickets, and credit/debit cards with precision while redeeming gaming vouchers and processing card advances. Balance assigned cash drawers at shift start and end, verify large volumes of currency, and prepare necessary paperwork for every transaction. Identify and report suspicious activity following AML and Title 31 compliance requirements, assist with jackpot payouts and marker issuance, and maintain a clean, secure workstation. Operate currency counters and kiosks while providing courteous service in a loud, fast-paced environment. Work an alternate schedule including holidays and weekends. Enrolled Catawba Citizens receive priority consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
- Ability to work an alternate schedule as needed, including holiday's and weekends
- Ability to work in a loud fast-paced environment (may occasionally be exposed to secondhand cigarette smoke)
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of cash handling experience
