Job Summary
Prepare food, drinks, and ingredients including candy, baked goods, and fudge for sale while performing all Barista, Café, and Fuzziwigs Candy Shop functions as assigned. Maintain working knowledge of recipes and follow food safety guidelines, state, and local ordinances. Manage side work, stocking, cleaning schedules, and opening/closing procedures while ensuring products are stored and registers are operated according to Scheels standards. Meet deadlines for fudge production and customer requests. Work assigned schedule including varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school education
- up to one month of related experience or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
- Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organization
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals
- Ability to work assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
