Job Summary
Full-time on-site Caregiver role in Alexandria, VA. Responsibilities include homemaker tasks (grocery shopping, light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry), private duty care (medication reminders, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming), companionship (conversations, reading, activities), travel companionship (driving and assisting during trips with safety supervision), 24-hour/overnight care (morning/evening routines, tuck-in), and palliative care (pain and symptom management, emotional support). Requires bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English) and a valid driver’s license for mobility within clients’ homes. U.S. work authorization is required and visa sponsorship is not available. The role is on-site in the client’s home in Alexandria, VA.
Required Qualifications
- CNA/PCA/HHA Certification
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. (e.g., Passport or Driver's License and Social Security Card)
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation
- Chest X-ray or PPD Skin Test (negative results)
- Experience as a Caregiver (at least 2 years preferred)
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
