Job Summary
Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging shoppers, determining their needs, recommending products, and promoting the Scheels Visa Credit Card. Maintain expert-level product knowledge, lead training for associates, and consistently meet personal sales goals. Manage inventory by analyzing Internal Flash Reports, ensuring proper merchandise display, price tagging, and organized backstock. Keep work areas clean, safe, and compliant with standards while communicating professionally with store associates, the Scheels Campus, and vendors. Maintain a professional appearance and positive team-oriented atmosphere. Requires high school diploma or GED, 1-3 months experience, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally. Flexible schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-3 months of related experience or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
- Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Must be flexible to work varied hours, evenings, weekends (to include two weekends per month) and holidays
- Average 42 hours per week
- Ability to perform basic math; perform operations using units of currency, measurements, and understand percentages
- Ability to work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Including product knowledge meetings
