Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries to prioritize merchandise processing onto the sales floor. Train and mentor Associates on merchandising principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to ensure adherence to store plans. Maintain a clean, organized backroom by rotating back stock, upholding signage standards, and ensuring all merchandise is properly tagged, hung, and secured. Engage with customers to maintain an excellent experience and communicate effectively with management to set priorities and address issues. This role requires a 5am start and flexible scheduling including nights and weekends. Candidates must have one year of retail experience and six months of leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
