In-home Associate Veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice, practicing mobile veterinary hospice and euthanasia care in the San Jose, CA area (and surroundings) with flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules. The position emphasizes independent practice within a supportive team, offering mentorship and onboarding, and ~3–4 un-rushed appointments per day. Responsibilities center on compassionate veterinary care in clients’ homes, prioritizing work-life balance, professional autonomy, and emotional fulfillment. Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree
- California veterinary license or eligibility to practice in CA
- ability to perform hospice and euthanasia care in a mobile, in-home setting
- valid driver’s license (implied by home-visit model)

- ability to work independently within a supported mentorship framework
