Job Summary
In-home mobile veterinary hospice care for pets and families in the Central Maryland area. Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia services, with flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules and 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day. Join a community of veterinarians offering ongoing training, mentorship, onboarding support, and a culture of kindness while practicing independently within Lap of Love. Mount Airy, MD area.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent
- Active Maryland veterinary license
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in a home setting
- Comfort with in-home/mobile veterinary practice
- Excellent client communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously within a supportive network
Desired Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent
- Active veterinary license in Maryland
- Experience with hospice care or end-of-life veterinary services (preferred)
- Strong communication skills with clients and families
- Ability to work independently in a mobile/in-home setting
- Comfort with euthanasia and compassionate end-of-life care
