Job Summary
In-Home, Associate Veterinarian role providing hospice and euthanasia care as a mobile veterinarian in the Mid-Hudson Valley region. Works with a supportive network of veterinarians and mentors, delivering compassionate care to pets and families in clients' homes. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, prioritizing work-life balance, with an emphasis on meaningful client interactions, emotionally fulfilling end-of-life care, and independent practice within Lap of Love’s hospice model. Responsibilities include delivering veterinary medicine in home settings, ensuring high-quality patient care, and collaborating with practice managers and leaders for ongoing onboarding and professional development. Opportunities include base salaries corresponding to schedule structure (e.g., 4-day at $117,500; 5-day at $140,000) plus bonus opportunities, with prorated compensation for shorter schedules.
Required Qualifications
- DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary degree
- New Jersey veterinary license or eligibility
