Job Summary
In-home mobile hospice veterinary role providing compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families in the Poughkeepsie and surrounding areas; independent practice with mentorship, flexible scheduling (2–5 days/week), and a supportive team, focused on work-life balance and meaningful client interactions; requires DVM and NY license, with emphasis on compassionate patient care, client communication, and ability to work autonomously in clients' homes.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Active New York veterinary license or eligibility
- Experience with in-home/mobile veterinary practice preferred
- Ability to perform humane euthanasia with compassion
- Strong communication skills
