In-home Associate Veterinarian role focusing on mobile hospice and euthanasia services. Practice medicine with purpose outside traditional clinics, delivering compassionate end-of-life care to pets and families in Jacksonville, FL and surrounding areas. Flexible 2–5 day work weeks with 3–4 patient appointments per day, onboarding and mentorship support, and opportunities for base salary with bonuses. The position emphasizes independent practice within Lap of Love’s established veterinary team, combining professional fulfillment with personal balance. Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent
- veterinary license to practice in the state of Florida or eligibility for licensure in Florida
- experience with hospice or end-of-life care preferred
- ability to perform euthanasia and compassionate pet care
- strong communication skills with families
- valid driver's license and reliable transportation for in-home visits
