Job Summary
In-Home, mobile veterinary hospice role providing compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with opportunities for part-time or full-time base compensation and bonuses; independent practice with mentoring and support from seasoned leaders. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality veterinary care in clients' homes, managing end-of-life care with empathy, and coordinating with families to align treatment with values. The position emphasizes balance, professional fulfillment, and personal well-being, with onboarding and ongoing mentorship to support growth as a veterinary professional.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
- active veterinary license in NJ or ability to obtain
- experience in hospice or end-of-life care preferred
- comfort with in-home visits and euthanasia discussions
- strong communication with pet families and clients
- ability to work independently while collaborating with a support team
