Job Summary
In-Home Associate Veterinarian role providing hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families as a mobile veterinarian. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with un-rushed appointments (average 3–4 per day), allowing practice with purpose and work-life balance. Role emphasizes compassionate care, family-centered communication, ongoing mentorship and onboarding, and independent practice within Lap of Love’s supportive network. Requires a DVM/VMD/BVMS, valid U.S. driver’s license, weekend availability, ability to lift significant weight, and successful background and motor vehicle checks. Location: Sodus, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Availability to work some weekends
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Background and motor vehicle record check (post-hire and before start date)
