Job Summary
In-home mobile hospice veterinary role in Omaha, NE (and surrounding areas) seeking an Associate Veterinarian. Independent practice with mentorship and onboarding support, offering flexible 2–5 day weekly schedules, and a caseload of ~3–4 un-rushed appointments per day focused on compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets. Opportunity to practice medicine with purpose outside of traditional clinics, in a supportive culture that emphasizes work-life balance, ongoing training, and collaboration with a network of veterinarians and practice managers. Base salary ranges from $85,000 for 4-day weeks to $100,000 for 5 days, plus bonus opportunities; 3-day and part-time options with prorated compensation are also available in the market.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the United States
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
- Active state veterinary license in good standing
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care to patients and families
- Strong communication and empathy skills
