Job Summary
In-home mobile veterinary hospice role providing compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule with an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, emphasis on work-life balance, mentorship and ongoing support, and a pathway to practice independently within Lap of Love's clinician community. Requires a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS), a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to work weekends, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance; background and motor vehicle checks apply. Lead responsibilities include delivering high-quality veterinary care in clients' homes, supporting families during meaningful moments, and aligning with the organization’s emphasis on compassionate, well-supported practice.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
- Availability to work some weekends
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
