Job Summary
In-home, mobile veterinary hospice veterinarian to provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in the St. Louis, MO area and surrounding regions. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day. Opportunity to practice independently within Lap of Love’s mentorship and onboarding framework, with support from a 24/7/365 center. Positions available for 4-day and 5-day full-time schedules in the St. Louis, MO market (4-day base from $107,500; 5-day base from $130,000; prorated options for 3-day and part-time opportunities). Locations include St. Louis, MO and Wood River, IL. The role emphasizes compassionate, client-centered care delivered in clients’ homes and hospitals through hospice and euthanasia services, with a focus on work-life balance and professional fulfillment.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent
- Active veterinary license in MO or IL
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in home settings
- Strong communication and empathy
- Ability to work independently and remotely as needed
