Job Summary
In-home veterinary hospice role providing compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets in Cleveland, OH and surrounding areas with a mobile practice. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, independent practice within a supportive team, and access to onboarding and mentorship. The position emphasizes practicing high-quality veterinary care in clients’ homes, prioritizing work-life balance, meaningful patient-family interactions, and professional fulfillment. Base opportunities include 4-day positions starting at $85,000 and 5-day positions at $100,000 with additional bonus opportunities; 3-day full-time/part-time options offering prorated compensation are also available.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Active Ohio veterinary license
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in home settings
- Experience or strong interest in mobile/in-home veterinary medicine
- Excellent client communication and compassion skills
- Ability to practice independently with mentorship and onboarding support
