Job Summary
In-home, mobile Associate Veterinarian for Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in the St. Louis, MO area and surrounding regions. Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets in clients' homes, embracing a mobile practice model that emphasizes work-life balance and professional fulfillment. Participate in a supportive culture with mentorship, ongoing training, and a dedicated practice-management team, while delivering high-quality veterinary medicine through flexible scheduling (2–5 days per week) and a manageable appointment pace (approximately 3–4 un-rushed visits per day). Key responsibilities include medical care in a home setting, client communication, and a meaningful, emotionally rewarding practice aligned with personal values.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD from an accredited college of veterinary medicine
- Licensed or eligible to practice veterinary medicine in MO or IL
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in-home settings
- Comfort with in-home/mobile practice and client-centered care
