Job Summary
In-Home, mobile Associate Veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice. Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in clients’ homes in the Plymouth, MA area as part of a mobile practice. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, enabling meaningful patient care and strong family interactions. Opportunity to practice medicine with purpose, receive mentorship and onboarding support, and operate with professional autonomy within a supportive team culture. Salary varies by schedule and includes bonus opportunities; 4-day positions start at $107,500 and 5-day positions at $130,000, with prorated compensation for 3-day roles and part-time options also available.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD from an accredited veterinary college
- Licensed veterinarian in good standing in Massachusetts or eligible to be licensed
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in-home
- Comfort with compassionate end-of-life care for pets and families
- Excellent communication and empathy with clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Mobility to travel within Plymouth/Capitals area as a mobile veterinary service
