Job Summary
In-Home Associate Veterinarian for Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice. Join a mobile veterinary team providing hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families in Jersey Shore, NJ, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care delivered in the home. The role offers flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, with appointments designed to be unhurried (3–4 per day) and meaningful, strong onboarding and mentorship, and the opportunity to practice medicine with purpose in an independent, supportive culture. Candidates will deliver end-of-life care, build relationships with families, and collaborate with a community of veterinarians and support professionals to provide high-quality veterinary services outside of traditional clinics.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Valid veterinary license in good standing
- Ability to perform hospice and euthanasia care in-home
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and family-centered support
- Willingness to work flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules
- Ability to work independently in a mobile/remote practice setting
