Job Summary
In-home, associate veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Plymouth, MA and surrounding areas. as a mobile veterinarian, you’ll provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families, practicing medicine with purpose outside traditional clinics. The role offers mentorship, onboarding, and a supportive leadership network while enabling a flexible schedule (2–5 days per week) with ~3–4 un-rushed appointments per day. Compensation varies by schedule: 4-day full-time starts at $107,500 and 5-day full-time at $130,000 plus bonus opportunities; 3-day full-time and part-time options are available with prorated compensation. Locations include Assonet, MA and Plymouth, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- License to practice veterinary medicine in good standing
- Ability to perform hospice and euthanasia care for companion animals
- Strong communication and empathy skills for client families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a veterinary support team
- Comfort with mobile/in-home clinical settings
- Flexibility to accommodate 2-5 day-per-week schedules
