Job Summary
In-home, mobile Associate Veterinarian position in the Seattle, WA area (and surrounding areas) offering hospice and euthanasia care with a focus on work-life balance and meaningful client communication. Flexible 2–5 day per week schedules with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, mentorship from experienced leaders, and onboarding support. This role emphasizes practicing medicine with purpose outside of traditional clinics and allows veterinarians to deliver compassionate end-of-life care in clients’ homes while maintaining professional fulfillment and personal well-being. Location-specific duties include mobile, in-home care for pets and families, with guaranteed base salary for part-time opportunities and additional bonus opportunities for full-time arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited program
- licensure to practice veterinary medicine in WA and/or MD
- ability to perform hospice and euthanasia with compassion
- strong communication skills with pet families
- ability to work independently during mobile visits
- commitment to patient comfort and family support
