Job Summary
In-home, mobile Associate Veterinarian role in the Harrisburg, PA area focusing on hospice and euthanasia care. You’ll practice veterinary medicine outside a traditional clinic, visiting families to provide compassionate end-of-life care for pets. The role supports flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, average unhurried appointments, mentorship and strong team support, and opportunities to practice independently while staying connected to a larger veterinary community. Compensation varies with schedule (4-day base at $85,000; 5-day base at $100,000 plus bonuses); 3-day and part-time options are also available with prorated pay. You’ll join a veterinarian-founded organization that emphasizes work-life balance, ongoing training, and a supportive culture, delivering meaningful care in clients’ homes.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Current veterinary license in good standing in PA or ability to obtain
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for in-home visits
- Excellent communication and empathy with clients
- Ability to work independently with mentorship support
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and ethics
- Flexibility to accommodate 2–5 day-per-week schedules
