Job Summary
Mobile associate veterinarian role providing hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes in Newton, NJ and surrounding areas (and Newburyport, MA area per hint). As part of Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice, you’ll practice veterinary medicine with flexibility, mentorship, and a focus on compassionate, family-centered care, delivering care directly at the home with a balanced schedule (2–5 days per week; average 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day). The position emphasizes independence within a supportive team, ongoing onboarding, and access to experienced leaders and a 24/7/365 support center; in-home, mobile practice environment with a focus on meaningful, emotionally fulfilling work.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD degree
- state veterinary license to practice (NJ/MA)
- authorities to provide hospice and euthanasia veterinary care
- in-home/mobile veterinary practice experience preferred
