Job Summary
In-Home, Associate Veterinarian for Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice: provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes as a mobile veterinarian in Grand Rapids, MI and surrounding areas. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, mentorship and onboarding support, and opportunities to practice medicine with purpose and balance. Responsibilities include independent clinical care in home settings, delivering humane end-of-life care, and partnering with families to support both pets and their people. Requires a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and Michigan veterinary licensure, with the ability to work autonomously in a mobile practice, delivering high-quality veterinary hospice services while aligning with the organization’s culture of kindness.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- State veterinary license or eligibility to practice in Michigan
