Job Summary
In-Home, Associate Veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in the Hartford, CT area. Mobile practice providing compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families, with flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, 3–4 appointments per day, mentorship and onboarding support, and base salaries starting at $107,500 (4 days) or $130,000 (5 days) with additional bonus opportunities. Opportunities for 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day schedules, including prorated compensation for part-time offerings. Offices/home visits in Hartford and surrounding CT areas.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD
- valid veterinary license in CT or eligibility for CT veterinary license
- practice in-home mobile veterinary care preferred
- experience with hospice and euthanasia care preferred
- ability to manage time and communicate compassionately with clients
- clear understanding of veterinary ethics and client confidentiality
