Job Summary
In-home, Associate Veterinarian role in Orlando, FL and surrounding areas focusing on hospice and euthanasia care for pets. This mobile practice emphasizes work-life balance with flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, a manageable caseload (approximately 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day), mentorship and ongoing professional development, and the ability to practice medicine with purpose outside of a traditional clinic. Compensation includes base salary with bonus opportunities; 4-day positions start at $117,500 and 5-day positions at $140,000, with prorated options for other schedules. Live and work remotely from designated Florida communities, visiting families in their homes to provide compassionate end-of-life veterinary care. Locations include Orlando and Lake Helen, FL.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent
- Florida veterinary license
- Ability to obtain/maintain Florida state licensure
- Mobile/home-visit veterinary care experience preferred
- Excellent communication and empathy for clients during emotionally challenging moments
