Job Summary
Provide compassionate in-home veterinary hospice and euthanasia care as a Mobile Associate Veterinarian serving Central Maryland. Offer flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with a focus on independent practice, meaningful patient advocacy, and family-centered care. Deliver 3–4 un-rushed appointments daily, conduct home visits for end-of-life care, and participate in a collaborative culture with onboarding, mentorship, and a dedicated support center. Principal duties center on practicing veterinary medicine in clients’ homes, supporting pets and families during meaningful moments, and maintaining high standards of care and client communication. Compensation includes base salary with bonus opportunities, with 4-day positions starting at $117,500 and 5-day positions at $140,000, with prorated options for 3-day or part-time schedules as applicable in this market.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland (or eligible)
- Experience with hospice and euthanasia care preferred
- Ability to work independently in client homes
- Strong communication and compassion for clients and pets
