Job Summary
Associate Veterinarian role in a fully mobile, in-home veterinary hospice setting. Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families, traveling to clients' homes in the Sacramento/area, with a flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule and 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day. Work within a supportive Lap of Love community offering onboarding, mentorship, and 24/7/365 support, while practicing medicine with purpose and personal balance.
Required Qualifications
- DVM/VMD or equivalent
- licensure to practice veterinary medicine in California
- ability to provide hospice and euthanasia veterinary care
- excellent communication with clients and families
- compassionate bedside manner
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- valid veterinary license in good standing
