Job Summary
Mobile veterinary hospice position in the Seattle area (and surrounding areas) for an in-home Associate Veterinarian. Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets in clients’ homes with a flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule, maintaining autonomy within a supportive, mentorship-rich environment. Role emphasizes relationship-centered care, time with families, and professional fulfillment through independent practice with guidance from experienced leaders. Responsibilities include delivering veterinary medical care in clients’ homes, communicating treatment plans effectively, and integrating palliative and end-of-life care with high ethical standards; opportunity for manageable caseloads, onboarding support, and career growth within Lap of Love’s established veteran-led network.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in WA or MD (as applicable)
