In-Home Associate Veterinarian for Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice serving Boston, MA and surrounding areas. Mobile veterinary hospice practitioner providing compassionate in-home care and euthanasia for pets, with a flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule, average 3–4 unhurried appointments per day, mentorship and onboarding support, and a collaborative team culture. Role emphasizes practicing medicine with purpose, balancing professional fulfillment with personal well-being, and working within a supportive network of veterinarians and practice managers in a mobile, home-visit setting.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Active veterinary license in good standing (or eligible)
- ability to perform in-home hospice and euthanasia care
- strong communication skills with pet families
- self-motivated with ability to practice independently within a supportive network
