Job Summary
In-Home Associate Veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice. Mobile veterinary position providing hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families in North Tampa, FL and surrounding areas. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, emphasis on balanced lifestyle, mentorship, and professional fulfillment. Independent practice with ongoing training, support from practice managers, and a culture of kindness. Responsibilities include patient exams in clients' homes, compassionate end-of-life care, and collaboration with a community of veterinarians to deliver high-quality medical and emotional support to clients.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program
- state veterinary license in good standing
- ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in-home
- excellent communication and client relationship skills
- ability to work independently and manage scheduling in mobile practice
