Job Summary
In-Home Associate Veterinarian in Queens, NY and surrounding areas. Mobile veterinary hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families during meaningful moments. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, supporting work-life balance. Fully supported by mentorship, onboarding, and a 24/7/365 Support Center, with the opportunity to practice medicine with purpose while working independently within Lap of Love’s veterinary hospice team. Compensation includes base salary with schedule-based variation: 4-day positions start at $135,000 and 5-day positions at $150,000, plus bonus opportunities; 3-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available with prorated compensation. Locations listed reflect service area (Queens, NY) and additional hinted location Cos Cob, CT. There is an emphasis on compassionate care for pets and families, and a community of veterinarians and support professionals.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in New York (or eligible)
- Ability to perform veterinary hospice and euthanasia care in-home
